What's public and what's private

Public

Anyone can see these, including people who aren't signed in and search engines:

• Your profile, published posts and replies.
• Who you follow and who follows you.
• The spaces you've joined.
• Events and opportunities, and your RSVP to an event.

Only the people in a conversation

Your messages. A moderator sees a copy of a message only when someone in that conversation reports it.

Not shown to anyone else

• Which posts you liked. Everyone sees the number of likes, and the author may be told you liked theirs.
• How you voted in a poll. Only totals are shown, after you vote or the poll closes.
• What you've saved.
• Who you've muted or blocked.

Only you

Your email address, your settings, and posts you've scheduled until they go out.

Being harder to find

Turn off Show me in Nearby and in suggestions in Settings › Privacy. Your profile stays public, but Mavuno stops suggesting you.

Never stored

Your date of birth and your exact location. The privacy policy lists everything we keep, and About location and photos explains what's taken out of your pictures.
