A reminder: be yourself on Mavuno Mavuno is for real people and real organisations. Don't pretend to be someone else, whether that's a celebrity, a community leader, a business, a government agency or another member. Only verified accounts can speak for an organisation. Look for the verified badge before you trust an account that says it's official, especially if it asks for money, your personal details or a visa fee. Fan and parody accounts are fine if they say so. Put "fan" or "parody" at the start of the name and in the bio. Accounts that pretend to be someone else are banned under rule 3 (Be honest), and so is any new account made to get around a ban. Running an organisation? Ask us to verify it. Contact us from an email address on your organisation's own website, not Gmail or Outlook, and we'll check it. Seen an impersonator? Open their profile, tap ⋯, choose Report profile, then "Pretending to be someone else". Our moderators look at every report.
